TRACKSS is one of the leading private assessment centres for waste management, recycling, street cleansing, cleansing, grounds maintenance and other qualifications. These QCF qualifications (previously NVQs) are awarded through WAMITAB (Waste Industry Training and Advisory Board) and TRACKSS is also an accredited City & Guilds centre.
TRACKSS has around fifteen years’ experience in this sector and our personnel are highly experienced practitioners. Most of TRACKSS’ associates have held senior posts in the waste management / recycling industry or in further education.
All of our delivery of learning, training and assessment programmes are tailored to client needs and takes place on client premises. Most programmes are 1:1 or small group with the learner(s) / candidate(s). This form of delivery minimises disruption to client operations and is extremely efficient and successful.
Those who obtain the QCF awards are eligible for the relevant industry recognised WAMITAB Certificate – the Operator Competence Scheme certificate (OCS – previously the Operator Competence Certificate, OCC) or the Certificate of Technical Competence (CoTC).
(For more information, click on the “QCF Qualifications” button to the left.)
In addition to the specialist QCF qualifications and related WAMITAB certificates, TRACKSS offers bespoke programmes tailored to client needs. For example:
Our Customer Awareness Briefing (CAB) is aimed at operatives who come into contact with the public.
Our CPD programme provides guidance and revisions for those CoTC and OCC holders who are planning to take the WAMITAB Continuing Competence CPD test.
We are accredited by CIWM to operate their “Waste Awareness Course” (WAC).
